How to assign coach and admin rights to club members?

July 10, 2013 - Posted by

Created a club and now want to assign coach and admin rights to members? Go to your club’s Dashboard view. There is a gear-wheel-like ‘user management’ button behind every User (on the right side of the page). Click it and choose either ‘Make coach‘ or ‘Make admin‘ or both.

How to assign coach and admin rights to club members

1. Admin is the administrator who can invite and manage members, assign/unassign Coach and Admin rights to/from others in the Dashboard view, and manage club’s settings, billing and website widgets in the Admin view. Important to know: Admins can assign Coach rights to themselves.

2. Coach can only plan and analyze athletes’ trainings.

The creator of the club has both rights, but these can be removed by him- or herself or by other Admins. Usually in smaller clubs coaches have simultaneously Coach and Admin rights, but in larger clubs it may be necessary to separate these roles. If you need private clubs for different coaches (so that they can’t see each other’s athletes’ data), then you simply have to create a new club for this.
