Detailed feedback about finished training sessions / homework
Athletes can now leave coaches detailed feedback about their finished training sessions and homework. With this data, coaches can better understand how the athletes react to various sessions and hence improve their own coaching methods.
How can athletes leave feedback?
Feedback can be left from the Player App or from the Parent App. The players or parents should open the schedule and find the required session. All finished events are accessible via the “Past events” button.
The feedback that can be left includes:
- Option to mark whether the session is finished or not
- How much they liked the session (1-5p)
- How hard the session was physically, using the Borg scale (1-10p)
- A free comment field to add any feedback about the finished training
How can coaches see the feedback?
Coaches can see feedback related to a specific training session (all athletes of that event) or related to a specific athlete (all of that athlete’s training sessions).
Training session (Web app -> Calendar -> Training feedback)
This view combines RSVP, attendance and athlete’s feedback of each training session onto one screen. Coaches can review and analyze how athletes compare to each other, e.g. how hard the same session was for athlete A and athlete B.
In addition, when the coach has marked attendance, he/she can mark how hard he/she thinks the session was for the athletes. Now, when the athletes have marked their own answers, the coach can review if he/she evaluated the hardness of the session right.
Athlete (Web app -> Athletes -> Athlete profile -> Attendance)
Here are the RSVP-s, attendance records and the athlete’s feedback answers combined based on a specific athlete. So coaches can review how a single athlete is performing throughout the month or even a longer period.
After you have tested this yourself, go and take a look at how to set up training sessions or homework with detailed descriptions.
