Sportlyzer and Estonian National TV investigated one innovative sports club
After winning the international Sports Technology Awards, the Estonian National TV wanted to make a program with us. But instead of talking only about Sportlyzer, we decided to visit one sports club that is actively using Sportlyzer.
So we visited Viimsi BC, a 450-head basketball club with 30 training groups and 13 coaches. We asked them how do they manage such a big number of athletes.
Tanel Einaste, the guy behind the development of the club, said that they had been looking for 2 years to find a solution that would decrease their administrative load.
Nobody could offer a complete solution, something was always missing. That’s why we used Excel and shared files for a long time and spent a lot of time on activities that weren’t in our primary scope.
Today, Viimsi BC is handling all administrative processes from one place: athletes’ lists and contacts are in the cloud, invoices get easily sent, players and parents are well-informed with everything important, and all reports are created automatically.
Tanel’s open mindset and continuous will to improve the club has brought them to the day where Viimsi BC is one of the most popular clubs in the region, kids and parents are happy, and club administration is under control.
Thumbs up for Tanel Einaste and Viimsi BC for the awesome work.
