We want to set you free from obligations that hinder your workflow. Therefore, we have made maintaining the current athlete contact information easier by giving more independence to athletes (and parents) which enables them to change information by themselves. We have also added more options for managers to configure the rights of coaches – what exactly, read below.
More independence for athletes
Athletes (and parents) can update their profile information whenever they want through a certain URL link.
You can find your club’s dedicated URL link by going to Preferences -> Online application settings -> Edit application settings and then switching this feature on.
After that you can share the URL link to anyone and anywhere by coping it. Make sure your athletes know this URL and that they are able to find this URL on your club homepage.
Athlete or parent goes to that link and inserts their email address for verification.
They will receive a profile update link to their inbox which enables them to change their profile.
What makes this independent is that updating can be done without manually notifying the coach or club manager and without having to register for the service. So, it’s possible to update the profile even after hours.
This system is safe because you can only update profile information if you are able to open the email we sent you.
In addition, coaches and managers who discover that a profile is outdated, can send request to athlete for updating the profile.

More configurations regarding coaches
Sportlyzer allows different configurations to manage the amount of data coaches can access. One of those is access to payment history of the athletes.
Simply go to Staff page, choose a staff member whose rights you want to configure, click on the button after their name and voilà, you can now switch on/off whether this coach can access payments.
And let us bring your attention to another small but important update: from the same place (Staff -> configure) you can turn on/off whether a coach is also an athlete.
This helps to clear the cut between staff members and athletes but still allowing existing athletes to have coaching rights.
