Setting HR Zones in Suunto Heart Rate Monitor for Sportlyzer

Follow the steps below to set your Suunto heart rate monitor into right mode for Sportlyzer.

1. Go to training mode by pressing  mode button from main screen. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Go to traingin sattins page by holding mode for few seconds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Navigate to “hr zones” menu.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Go inside “hr zones” menu by using mode button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Then select “hr zones: ” value “on” by using lap button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • hr zones: on
  • z1: 51% – 69%
  • z2: 69% -79%
  • z3: 79% – 99%
  • tone: off

6. Navigate to “hr limits” menu with lap/light buttons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Select following values:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • hr limits: off
  • lower: 97
  • upper: <as suggested by Sportlyzer>  for example: 190
  • alarm: 79% – 99%

8. Go back to training mode with:

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. After workout check total times inside zones from the session log and enter data to your Sportlyzer account.
